Hester Lyons, Vice President of Lonschein Accounting Services (LAS), provides human resources and benefits consulting services to Action Research Partners. Hester joined LAS after 20 years at the Vera Institute of Justice where she was the Director of Human Resources. She was a recent member of the selection committee for the New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Awards. Early in her career she was a New York City Juvenile Probation Officer, Director of the Wiltwyck Alternative School and a Peace Corps Volunteer. She received a Master’s Degree in Social Relations from CUNY and a BA from the University of California at Berkeley.
