Emily Rodriguez
Research analyst
Emily is a social worker and researcher interested in leveraging data-driven solutions to improve the biopsychosocial wellbeing of children, youth, and families involved in child welfare systems.
Prior to joining Action Research, Emily supported and contributed to several research and evaluation projects at two research centers housed within Case Western Reserve University. At the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, they supported research activities focusing on evaluating services available to children, transitional-aged youth, and families both in the greater Cleveland area and across Ohio such as the Ohio Healthy Transitions Project. At the Mary Ann Swetland Center for Environmental Health, Emily supported the National Institute of Health’s HEALing Communities Study by designing and distributing data collection instruments, conducting social network analysis on yielded county data, and supported stakeholder coordination.
Emily holds Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Community Practice for Social Change at Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor’s in Social Work with a specialization in Child Welfare at Appalachian State University.
